DESCRIPTION:
Gripping plays an important role in industrial automation and also in human-robot cooperation. Festo offers a comprehensive solution for picking parts on the front of the robot. Whether you choose mechanical, adaptive or vacuum grippers - Festo offers a set of robotic grippers specially designed for Universal Robots robotic arms for all these applications.
The transfer of force from rectilinear motion to the movement of the jaws is ensured by a mechanic with a flat wedge, which determines the course of the movement. This also guarantees synchronous movement of the jaws. The sliding guide, almost without play, is realized by ground jaws.
FUNCTIONS:
- Double-acting gripper
- Compression spring to support or secure the gripping force or when using only one compressed air supply as a single-acting gripper
- Suitable as external and internal grip
- When a blower is connected (max. 0.5 bar), compressed air flows along the jaws. This prevents dust, for example, from entering the jaw
