DESCRIPTION:
Gripping plays an important role in industrial automation and also in human-robot cooperation. Festo offers a comprehensive solution for picking parts on the front of the robot. The transfer of force from rectilinear motion to the movement of the jaws is ensured by a mechanic with a flat wedge, which determines the course of the movement. This also guarantees synchronous movement of the jaws. The sliding guide, almost without play, is realized by ground jaws.
FUNCTIONS:
- Double-acting gripper
- Compression spring to support or secure the gripping force or when using only one compressed air supply as a single-acting gripper
- Suitable as external and internal grip
- When a blower is connected (max. 0.5 bar), compressed air flows along the jaws. This prevents dust, for example, from entering the jaw
