MAGUIRE two-stage granulators of the PRS series are designed exclusively for grinding extrudates that are created at the start of production and their reprocessing is difficult.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The devices of the PRS series are supplied as standard with a hopper for parts intended for grinding with a volume of 150 l, total power input 5.9 kW. The parts to be ground are stored in a large chamber with a pressure plate. The parts chamber moves alternately against the grinding shaft. In this first stage, the material is cut into chips. In the second stage, the chips are ground in an integrated grinding chamber with a stator / rotor blade and sieve. The granulator does not need permanent maintenance, it will signal an empty grinding chamber with an alarm.
